Executive- Business Development
Position Overview:
Carbon Light is seeking a proactive and skilled professional with expertise in defence requirements, market strategy, and regulatory processes. The ideal candidate will identify new opportunities, promote our products, streamline procurement processes, and manage documentation requirements. This role demands a strategic thinker with excellent communication, networking, and project management skills, who can act as a bridge between internal teams and external stakeholders in the defence ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Identification & Market Strategy:

- Identify defence sector products aligned with Carbon Light’s capabilities.
- Explore new technology areas for diversification and suggest R&D investments.
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis for key projects.
- Promotion & User Awareness:

- Increase awareness of Carbon Light’s offerings
- Represent the company at industry events, seminars, and strategic marketing campaigns.
- Develop strong relationships with defence organizations, government bodies, and private companies.
- Prepare high-quality reports and presentations to showcase capabilities.
- Project Management

- Oversee procurement processes for defence projects, ensuring timely delivery.
- Expedite user trials, regulatory compliance, and contract agreements.
- Collaborations & Funding:

- Facilitate partnerships with key industry players.
- Identify and manage technical collaborations with foreign OEMs, including technology transfer agreements.
- Assist in securing funding for R&D through idex, TDF, DRDO, and other government programs.
- Documentation & Regulatory Compliance:

- Prepare licensing applications and required documentation for regulatory processes.
- Act as a liaison with government agencies to expedite approvals.
- Maintain meticulous project records, reports, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Regular Project Reviews:

- Conduct weekly reviews to track project progress, address challenges, and ensure smooth execution.
- Provide detailed status reports to management with actionable recommendations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, defence Technology, MBA or related fields.
- Significant experience in the defence sector preferred.
- Strong network within defence organizations and private industry players preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in project management and strategic planning.
- Familiarity with advanced composites and defence requirements is an advantage.
Age group: 25 -35 Years
