Position- PPC (Production Planning and Control Engineer) 

Qualification- B.tech (Mechanical)

Experience- Min. 3-5 Years in PPC

Key Responsibilities-

  1. Project Planning and Scheduling:
    • Develop and maintain project schedules using tools like MS Projet
    • Define project deliverables, milestones, and deadlines in collaboration with project managers.
  2. Project Monitoring and Control:
    • Track project progress against timelines and budgets. o Identify potential risks and implement mitigation plans.
    • Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders.
  3. Integrated Management System (IMS):
    • Ensure project activities comply with IMS standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001). o Collaborate with the quality team to integrate IMS requirements into project workflows.
  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and procurement teams.
    • Facilitate communication among stakeholders to resolve issues promptly.
  2. Documentation and Compliance:
    • Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
    • Ensure all deliverables meet contractual and regulatory requirements.
  3. Coordinating with teams: Working with procurement and inventory teams to ensure the availability of raw materials and components.
  4. Analysing capacity: Identifying capacity and resource constraints to optimize production timelines.
  5. Updating departments: Informing relevant departments of changes to the production schedule.

Qualifications and Skills

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  2. Experience: 3–5 years in project planning, scheduling, or control roles.
  3. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project).
  4. Good knowledge of IMS standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Strong communication and leadership abilities

 

Responsibilities-

  • Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer orders, inventory targets, and production capacity constraints
  • Coordinate with sales, operations, and procurement teams to prioritize production orders and allocate resources effectively
  • Monitor and analyze production data, including lead times, cycle times, and capacity utilization, to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies
  • Implement and maintain production planning and control systems, such as ERP/MRP software, to streamline workflows and improve visibility into production activities.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on production performance, including key metrics such as on-time delivery, production efficiency, and resource utilization
  • Participate in cross-functional teams and projects to support continuous improvement initiatives and strategic objectives.
  • Production planning and control according to our customer requirement.
  • Analysis of daily defect and action upon it to reduce process rejection.
  • Implementations of 5S and Safety on shop floor.
  • Made all documents related to production and maintenance.
  • Coordinating with Prod. Dept. for problem solving and taking corrective actions
