Position- PPC (Production Planning and Control Engineer)
Qualification- B.tech (Mechanical)
Experience- Min. 3-5 Years in PPC
Key Responsibilities-
- Project Planning and Scheduling:
- Develop and maintain project schedules using tools like MS Projet
- Define project deliverables, milestones, and deadlines in collaboration with project managers.
- Project Monitoring and Control:
- Track project progress against timelines and budgets. o Identify potential risks and implement mitigation plans.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders.
- Integrated Management System (IMS):
- Ensure project activities comply with IMS standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001). o Collaborate with the quality team to integrate IMS requirements into project workflows.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and procurement teams.
- Facilitate communication among stakeholders to resolve issues promptly.
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
- Ensure all deliverables meet contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinating with teams: Working with procurement and inventory teams to ensure the availability of raw materials and components.
- Analysing capacity: Identifying capacity and resource constraints to optimize production timelines.
- Updating departments: Informing relevant departments of changes to the production schedule.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Experience: 3–5 years in project planning, scheduling, or control roles.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project).
- Good knowledge of IMS standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
Responsibilities-
- Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer orders, inventory targets, and production capacity constraints
- Coordinate with sales, operations, and procurement teams to prioritize production orders and allocate resources effectively
- Monitor and analyze production data, including lead times, cycle times, and capacity utilization, to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies
- Implement and maintain production planning and control systems, such as ERP/MRP software, to streamline workflows and improve visibility into production activities.
- Provide regular reports and updates on production performance, including key metrics such as on-time delivery, production efficiency, and resource utilization
- Participate in cross-functional teams and projects to support continuous improvement initiatives and strategic objectives.
- Production planning and control according to our customer requirement.
- Analysis of daily defect and action upon it to reduce process rejection.
- Implementations of 5S and Safety on shop floor.
- Made all documents related to production and maintenance.
- Coordinating with Prod. Dept. for problem solving and taking corrective actions
